PRO SMP ink for SCALP

Tattoo inks are made of blue, green & purple constituent colors. When they’re broken down by your immune system or by ultraviolet rays from the sun, the black ink separates & changes coloration, very similar to the ink used in a regular body tattoo does. On the scalp, this can take less than a couple of months. Our Scalp Micropigmentation Pigments are 100% organic with no color additives. They can’t break down into other colors because they contain no constituent colors. That’s why it’s recommended by the world’s leading hair transplant surgeons.

Scalp Micropigmentation for WOMEN and MEN

Androgenetic alopecia or female pattern hair loss accounts for 95% of hair loss in women. Hair loss in women can be accounted for because of hormonal changes, medical conditions, medications, stress, diet, age, menopause, etc. The effects of balding, thinning hair or alopecia in women can have very devastating effects on women, much more than men. It cause depression & anxiety in women, as well as the feelings of loss in attractiveness & sexuality, loss of self-image & decrease emotional well-being. SMP or Scalp Micropigmentation is the best treatment for women with thinning hair. It adds density to the scalp which gives the appearance of a full, think head of hair. The process of SMP for the treatment of thinning hair or hair loss in women is essentially the same technique as per men. Using a micro needle, the size & shape of an actual hair follicle, install micro dots in the upper dermis & epidermis of the scalp to replicate natural hair follicles. These pigmented hair follicles add the appearance of density to the hair, as you no longer can see through the hair to the scalp. This appearance of a full head of hair through the SMP process can increase a woman’s self-confidence, self-esteem, sexuality and self-image.

Some Benefits of SMP treatment includes:

  1. Non-Surgical Treatment.
  2. Affordable, compared with alternative treatments.
  3. Permanent, with only minor touch-ups needed every 5+ years.
  4. Adds density to thinning hair, giving the appearance of a full head of hair.
  5. Increases self-esteem and self-confidence in minutes.
  6. SMP can work on women of any age, skin type or skin color.
  7. SMP can be used to camouflage any scalp scarring related to hair transplants.
  8. No more wigs or extensions to cover up embarrassing thinning hair.

Types of Hair Loss Using the Ludwig Scale

What is the Ludwig Scale?

The progression of female pattern baldness (Androgenic Alopecia) is generally classified on the Ludwig scale, which ranges from stages I to III. Stage I begins with thinning on the top of the head. In stage II the scalp starts to show. Finally, all of the hair at the crown of the head may be lost when the hair loss progresses to stage III. This is only a general guide, and many women fit into different categories within the Ludwig Scale.

Ludwig Stage I:

Only mild hair loss is present during Stage 1. Usually the hair loss is occurring on the top or the back of the head (Crowing). Women are not usually aware the developing of hair loss at this stage, however, women may start noticing the part widening, demonstrating thinning hair along the top of the scalp and crown area.

Ludwig Stage II:

Stage II hair loss is considered moderate. In this stage, women may notice thinning, shedding, general decrease in volume or density of hair, and a center part that continues to widen over time.

Ludwig Stage III:

Stage III is the final and most extreme classification of female hair loss. When a patient is suffering from hair loss at this stage the hair will be extremely thin and the scalp will be very visible. There is extreme shedding and thinning during this stage.

Ludwig Advanced Stage:

Although this stage is rare, it shows a very advanced stage of female pattern hair loss, with almost no hair remaining on the crown or top of the head.

Ludwig Frontal Advanced Stage:

Frontal advanced stage is also a rare condition in female pattern hair loss; however, this type of hair loss is concentrated more at the forehead area than the crown of the head and gradually moves back.
